Bulgaria have left footprints in my heart

BULGARIA

The country of Bulgaria is filled with stunning sandy beaches that all lead to sparkling water of the Black Sea. Add in the unforgettable adventures, the plethora of history, and an abundance of spectacular views and you may find that you can have a vacation that you will remember for a lifetime.

Weather in Bulgaria

The winter months can be very cold in Bulgaria, but while the temperatures will get below freezing, it never goes below zero degrees. The summer months are much warmer, in the eighties, and that is when most people decide to visit this part of the world. Rain usually arrives during the spring, but you can experience it at other times of the year as well.

Things to Do in Bulgaria

There is one preserved medieval castle in all of Bulgaria and it is Baba Vida. I recommend spending a little time at this castle when you arrive in this country, so you can travel back in time to learn more about the history of the castle and the entire area. Of course, the Belogradchik Fortress is another option if you are closer to one than the other.

Devil’s Throat Cave is one of the more popular attractions within Bulgaria, so you will want to add it to your list of things to do during your visit. There is a waterfall at the end of the tour and it falls into what is called the Hall of Thunder.

A couple other attractions you might want to consider include the Earth and Man National Museum, Ledenika, Boyana Church, and the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral.
